| Information | My presence here at Art Limited comes somewhat as a surprise to me, as I have never thought of my lunar and planetary astrophotography as being particularly "artistic" or "creative". However, one of my absolute favourite photographers (Diana Bodea) invited me to join, and here I am!
Initially I hesitated at presenting my images here, but I love to share what I see in the sky with others, and if I can encourage even one person through this wonderful site to have a look through a telescope at the wonders of our universe, I will be happy. Even without a telescope, the night sky is an incredibly beautiful sight, and I encourage everyone to take time out of their busy lives, find a nice dark spot on a clear night and just lie back for 15 minutes and take it all in. As I said to Diana on one occasion, seeing the Milky Way reminds us that we are all from the same place in the universe, no matter where on Earth we are born.
I have to say that there are some incredibly beautiful and creative images here in AL, and I hope that my presence here does not offend anyone, as my images are as I see them through my telescope and without any form of creativity. | |
